12 astounding bus tickets from the 1930s

Look at these beautiful bus passes… Someone went to all that trouble making these designs, and they only lasted a week. I love how they put little reminders on them, like the one below. A reminder to buy flowers on mothers day! Or social behavior, to use school yards during vacation so the kids wouldn’t be on the streets. Lovely!

These are amazing, far more beautiful than they have any right to be. Do you by chance have any higher-resolution scans (suitable for desktop backgrounds or for printing out and framing) that you’d be willing to provide? Personal use only is fine, I don’t have any commercial intentions. I’d just really like to have some high-res versions, with all the texture from the cardstock and everything right up there and visible.

I enjoy when artistic flair is added to the everyday. The DC Metro changes up its tickets once in a while (National Zoo, Inauguration), though when my sister and I went to Japan, there were several public transit tickets that were beautiful keepsakes for us as tourists, though they were everyday enough to be occasional litter/recycling as used paper.
